being rejected from nyu would kill the spark that roxie had for her singing career, and although she would have a youtube channel where she would post cover songs, her drive became focused more towards acting. not wanting to take help from her famous boyfriend at the time, she began to post skits on her channel when she wasn't going out to auditions. she landed her first movie role in 2015 and hit a stride, getting minor one episode tv shows. her first big break of sorts was in 2017 when she landed the role of ximena on the fosters, which helped her get casted for abc's new pilot called get christie love.

unfortunately for her, abc decided not to pick up the show, leaving roxie to have a quarter life crisis when it comes to her acting career and if this was something she still wanted to pursue.
